Sunnsite Huus offers a private apartment and group accommodation, set on a quiet, sunny hillside in the hamlet of Ringoldingen. It’s the perfect base for ski trips, hiking adventures, and exploring the region.

Our private, top-floor apartment is ideal for up to 8 guests. For larger parties, including schools, clubs, and group travelers, our group accommodation for up to 24 people is perfect for vacations, camps, sports trips, and excursions.

Guests can also book our neighboring training and activity room for workshops, group sessions, and indoor activities.

Built in the 1960s, the building originally served as a residence and later as a Rudolf Steiner home for children with special needs. Today, the Sunnsite Huus (Sunnyside House) welcomes guests as a self-catering vacation home – a place to step away from everyday life, recharge, and experience the beauty of the Bernese Oberland.

Whether you’re planning a family vacation, mountain biking or motorcycle tours, an active hiking holiday, winter or ski trips, or a summer escape in the mountains, our holiday home is your base for a great stay any time of year.

Group Accommodation

Our group accommodation offers plenty of space for up to 16 guests, spread across approximately 240 square meters over two floors. It includes a communal kitchen, a spacious dining and living area, 9 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms.

Groups of 17 to 24 guests may also book the apartment on the upper floor.

Training & Activity Room

The training and activity room provides approximately 75 square meters of flexible space and is ideal for meetings, theater, music, and movement groups, as well as a wide range of indoor activities, including yoga, Pilates, Zumba, aerobics, martial arts, and meditation.
